Looking over June Lake from the June Mountain Lodge is when I knew what I wanted to do, Swim June Lake and the countless other beautiful lakes in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
I had found my calling, my new vocation in life, and my way back into the Sierra Nevada Mountains through Open Water Swimming, all while Raising much needed Worldwide Multiple Sclerosis Awareness.
Swimming is where I am free from the physically debilitating and cognitively challenging aspects of Living with Multiple Sclerosis. "When I Swim - I am at One with Myself and at One with the World"
It is with each lake I swim in the Sierra Nevada Mountains that I aim in heightening Multiple Sclerosis Awareness and in Funding Research to Help Find a Cure in the Race to Erase MS.
